Talk & Play Together

Where stories, songs, and giggles help words grow

Through songs, stories, and play-based activities, you’ll get tips and tricks to support your child’s early communication and development—all while they explore, socialize, and have fun! Think of it as a guided playgroup where you leave with practical ideas to use at home.

What You’ll Do:

  • Explore and practice naming and describing the world around you

  • Read favorite stories like The Very Hungry Caterpillar and bring them to life with songs and play

  • Build, pretend, and create with hands-on activities that spark imagination and conversation

  • Learn simple tips to encourage speech and language growth at home

Why Families Love It:

  1. Watch your child’s confidence blossom as they share, play, and express themselves

  2. Connect with other families in a warm, supportive setting

  3. Take home fun ideas and strategies you can use every day—because learning doesn’t stop when playgroup ends!

This playgroup is led by a licensed speech-language pathologist, but it isn’t a therapy session and your child does not need to be receiving (or planning to receive) services to join. It’s simply a fun, age-appropriate class for children under 2 and their caregivers.

Come play, explore, and grow—together!
